    Tuesday-Friday: 11:30am-6:00pm

Non-Musical Positions

  • No musical experience necessary! Throughout the three-day session, you will help with specific tasks to help everything stay on track! The Support Crew members are vital in making sure everyone is having a great experience during Adult Sessions!

We have created three crews to help get everything done:

Site Crew: You will help make the weekend run smoothly by working with all Workshop Leaders to make sure they have the supplies and support that they need, and create organizational systems to make sure everything is easy to find and distribute. You will also help keep the building organized and tidy throughout the day.

Gear Crew: You will work with the Keeper of the Gear to ensure everyone has the gear they need. Throughout the weekend, you will be a roadie for the bands, help move gear for instrument instruction, and set up for workshops and bands.

Food Crew: We need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly! This position includes setting up and breaking down food/drinks throughout the day. People get cranky when they are hungry and you will be making sure everyone is fed and HAPPY!!

Support Crew roles pair well with folks who have limited availability during the sessions. Please be explicit about your schedule needs in the application.

  • Each BRPM Summer Session includes workshops to encourage creativity, self-awareness, and expression. Past workshops have included: Songwriting Workshop, Amplifier and Gear Repair Workshop, Silk Screening, Women In Rock History, and Self-Defense.

We’re also interested in proposals for workshops on other relevant topics that align with our mission and enhance the experience at BRPM. Send your suggestions to contact@raisingpowerfulmusicians.org along with your application.

All workshop leaders will need to meet with the Program Director prior to the session.

    Time Commitment

  • This position is our equivalent to a counselor, and is one of the most rewarding jobs for volunteers at GRCB. The Band Manager serves as positive mentors for their assigned youth band. The Band Manager ensures youths are where they need to be at all times, and, at the end of the day, attend the daily staff meeting. (If you have musical experience, then you can assist your Band Coach as well.)

    Monday: 7:30am-6:00pm

    Tuesday-Friday: 11:30am-6:00pm

  • To help keep youth safe, GRCB needs an onsite nurse to help out with youth health needs!

    • Attend to minor first aid needs (Band-aid assistance please!)

    • Keeping track of youth allergies and medications.

BRPM prefers nurses that are currently practicing. Folks who are First-Aid Certified can also apply for this role.
